Failing to Upload Files Everywhere Windows 10
Files do not upload to ESX half dozen.five datastore
Hello Everyone,
When I try to upload files to our ESX half-dozen.v host, the upload does non complete. The file is Windows ISO nearly 7GB in size. Small files have no problem. The same file that does not upload to our ESX 6.5 host, can be uploaded to our older 6.0 host.
The event viewer in wmware gives me the following:
VMware ESXi
File upload to path '[Jupiter]ISO/Windows10/Windows.iso' was initiated from 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE seven.0; Windows NT vi.ane; WOW64; Trident/seven.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR two.0.50727; .Cyberspace CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR three.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)@10.12.112.137' and completed with status 'False'
How tin can I get my file to upload?
Y'all tin try using Winscp to admission the host and upload to the datastore, which would be located in the vmfs binder. Too yous could try removing the client integration plug-in, so perform a fresh install. You can download from the spider web client past going to help > about and in there you will meet a download link.

I would get it to work in Chrome or Firefox. Using the spider web client in IE/Border has always been a bad feel for me.

I've had strangeness uploading iso's to a datastore with various browsers at different times. Once, chrome will tank the upload, but Safari will do it. Fast forward a few weeks the state of affairs is reversed.
